Why no deer?

    Do you do Mineral sites? I would start doing them if they are allowed in your state.
    Honestly, I would rather have it your way than to have them there all Summer and then they are gone in the Fall. Yeah it sucks when you are trying to inventory the deer on your property, but the deer are there when you need them to be.

    I have something similar happen every year. I will have the same 12-15 deer on camera in front of the feeders. Once the fawns start dropping most of the deer disappear, then once the fawns are about a month old back come the rest of the deer.

    That's probably the does recovering from birthing and waiting until the fawns are big enough to outrun danger before venturing out again?

    And out of that 50 acres, How much of it would you consider to be thick good bedding area? I agree with the nutritionist's that there is often a gap in people food plotting plans. Clover works for our property but that's because we mow it every 4 weeks or so.

    About 7 acres are real thick alder and about 20 are forest and 20 hay fields and the feast is my yard.
