Why is what people are wearing a bigger deal than the actual awards?

I’ll admit it…. I didn’t watch and I could not care less. But just checking the news this morning, all you read about is how people were dressed last night rather than who actually won the awards.

 

I'm wearing jeans and a Northernair Lodge Hoodie today.... But all I've done is check my email and surf the forums

 

Because nobody cares who wins an award for a role in a movie no one has seen.
But evidently lots of people like to check out good looking celebs all dressed up. I won't lie, Mila Kunis looked absolutely stunning yesterday.

 

I saw most of the movies that won...

 

I can guarantee I did not see any of the movies even nominated. I'm not sure what the last movie I've seen was. The last one that comes to mind is Mall Cop.


I have not been to a movie theater in at least 7-8 years. I don't even remember what movie that was.

Part of it is I don't think movies are very good these days. Part of it is I'm busy enough with our two young kids that I just don't have time to watch films I am interested in.


Edit: I just remembered that I saw parts of Toy Story 2 that we rented to for the kids. So I guess I have seen something recently.

 

Hollywood's who's-who got together - to give themselves awards again?

They should post up "Morning After" pics of everyone who was at the after-party. Now that might be interesting.
