I am looking to purchase a another trailcamera. I already have a Cuddeback capture that is years old and has never had a single problem. I have a Moultrie M80, its a couple seasons old and I havnt had a single problem with it. I have a Wildgame Innovations IR4 and its a few seasons old, never a problem. I have a Bushnell Trophycam Bone collector Edition, its a few seasons old and i think its a p.o.s., it takes great day images, but at night it has a ToN of "washed out" white photos ! Last I have Stealthcam Rogue I.R., also is a complete p.o.s., one season old and all it does is take pics every minute until the SD card is full or the batterys are dead. Called the company and followed there instructions and did a master reset, didnt fix it, tried two different SD cards and still dont work right. With all of that being said, different websites give different reviews, and its like buying a flat screen tv. They all claim to be the best and there is mixed customer reviews ! I would like some honest opinions on what everybodys running and what you guys think, I sure dont wanna waste another dime on a **** camera ! Im putting in five food plots this year and I gotta cover them !!!!!! HELP
I personally like my 2 trophy cams I have and havent had any probems with them over the past 2 yrs. Next i'm going with a covert due to the reviews and pics ive seen from them. the 2013 mp6 is in my future
yeah i think the next cam I would purchase is a covert as well...all the talk on here about them and i never hear anything wrong with them so to me its worth a try
I have a bunch of Bushnells, have had a few issues, moultrie not impressed, got a couple coverts last season. They're kickin' butt so far and they're the cheapest one they made. Ill be buying more coverts in my near future. Knowing their customer service guy is a great guy helps a lot too!
Game cameras are like cars. Some models have issues and some don't then again some cars that are the same model have problems and some don't. There are only so many manufacturers that make compontnets for the cams. You will find quite a few game cam companys actually use the same components. So in the end it comes down to good customer service. I know I can call Covert ( Pat ) anytime and they are going to take good care of me. As far as online feedback most people that don't have issues don't say anything or give positive feedback however those that do have a issue are real quick to cry wolf. This is why feedback on sites like Cabelas and such can be deceiving. Hey Pat! Did you check on the e-mail subject line with the higher ups for me?
It shouldn't be a difficult decision at all. Just check out any of Pat's posts. Pictures are unbelievable, and if you wold happen to have any problems. There customer service is second to none. I know that from personal expierience.
I have yet to own a trail cam but from what I've seen of the Coverts they will definitely be my first cams. They seem head and shoulders above the rest as far as pic quality that I've seen.
Just acquired my first Covert last week, if you spend your money on anythin else your just throwin it in the trash. Easy to use, built tough, an the quality of pictures is astonishing!!!
my M100 has been amazing i had 2 capture IRs and they was horable but they are old cameras now. funny how technology out does itself so quickly. where can i get a covert camera?
Just got my first Covert this past season and I love it! Takes great day and night pics. Plus, you can't beat the price, quality, and customer service. I have the MP6 currently and planning on purchasing more Covert products in the future.
I'm a huge fan of CS, and believe it should be one of the leading cases for any purchase of Trail Cams, that said they gotta run and not need CS that often....which is why I use Covert, the "kill two birds with one stone" does fit with them.
