I put them on the list I sent to Santa. I've been a good boy this year! Oh I hope I get them. Do elves make iPhones? So they would be made overseas, correct?
Silly elves do not make iPhones, they order them from the apple store. Hey Justin since Vito has been a good boy and bhc is in tight with Mathews, bhc should get Vito a Mathews, once he shoots one I bet he's hooked and becomes a fan boy. Can bhc get this done? I want to see them convert Vito, can it be done?
Ouch - http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/05/us-apple-shares-idUSBRE8B40VK20121205 Currently down again today with the S&P trending up. I may not be an Apple fan, but I'm all for domestic production and manufacturing. Certainly not rooting against that aspect.
I own stock in apple, but I am a long term investor, I applaud the move. Bring more jobs here, the more American work, the higher standard of living. The more products apple sells.
I hope Apple stock plunges....I'll buy in with every penny I have. They aren't going anywhere with their chokehold on the market share in suburban america. Good move on their part. It won't be why I buy Apple (ease of use and zero issues with viruses or slowing down...ever), but its a move I support.
Of course the price of the stock took a hit. It's going to cost them 6 times as much to make the things. LOL P.S. I'm really not an Apple guy. I do remember my first Apple back in ... I don't know... maybe 1981. Apple 2C or E or something like that.
Still don't like them and their fanboy's are really annoying, but Glad they are bringing some jobs back
The problem with the move is not so much the move itself but more as to why they are making the move. Many perceive that it was being made purely to seek some good PR as apple been taking it on the chin and is no media darling as of late. Lets not forget that apple is the the most held stock in about 12.5% of the worlds Mutual Funds...so perception is quick to become reality if the street thinks they are making the wrong move. Further more lets not forget that apple was trading up around 700 not to long ago and it closed under 550 today. .... The premise that this move creates more American jobs and higher standard of living is a total joke, If the creation of those jobs hurt the company and shareholders. About 1 out of 8 mutual funds right now have apple as their top holding, that effects about very 401k, states pensions funds, states and city's deferred compensation funds ...and so one down the line. Now tell me how that helps Americans standard of living. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well in you understood what a plant will do for a community, it's not just the apple workers. It's the feeder plants, the small business near the plant. The restaurants getting more business. Lets ship all the jobs over sea, manufacture nothing, invest in those companies and watch the standard of living sore
