Why I like being 25-35 ft MINIMUM up a tree

    Quick question and please don't take it the wrong way...I have seen and read about your success last year, have you had success in other years? Or did you start doing something different last year and that is why you always reference your '08 success?

    VERY nice animals, Hardcorehunter. I prefer height also, but some of the close shots are pretty severely angled. Do you shoot fixed or mechanical?

    Wow that is impressive you can just walk into any woods and smoke deer so easily. It sure doesn't come easy for many of us. What setup do you use to be a mobile hunter? I was thinking about using a boat to get to some of my stands along the river. Do you use boats at all? If so, why type of boat do you recommend?

    If foliage, landscape and tree allow I, when using my climber I climb until I feel my bow rope taunt on my bow, the rope is 25' long.

    When hanging a lock on, it's always at least 20' up, again, situation allowing. :cool:
