As of this year, my older brother now runs the camp. 9 years of it burns a guy out from the outdoors and its not the barrel of fun that most people think it is. I picked up a fishing rod 3 times this year. I used to love fishing. Now, its just something to do if the opportunity arises. I'm actually going to write a blog on the subject, but its going to take awhile to get it all down. Would I do it again? Absolutely. But, I would have different expectations going in. BTW, I'm not Canadian. I'm a Wisconsinite. You know, the state with a real football team. Never tried to get my residency up there, only work permits every year.
Guilty of butt-kissing or inane posting? Inane posting... Guilty! Butt-kissing.. maybe just a little. :p
You guys/girls have made this post rather interesting. It's good to hear some info about the personalities on here.
I took a guess And I'm from Illinois originally, so I root for the Bears. So, there's nothing you can say that will make me feel worse than I already do about my football team. Plus I'm engaged to a Packers fan. I understand about the burn out thing. I haven't had to experience it personally, but I've seen it a few times. I've seen a few guys who have even gotten bitter about it because of being around it so much. I was so excited the first time I got behind an archery counter, and the guys that had been doing it for a few years couldn't even get excited about actually going out and shooting. Come rifle season, nobody wanted to go out and sight-in rifles for customers (and there were lots of them to do), to me it was fun. I jumped at the chance to go up to the range.
