Why does it say "Member" and "Weekend Warrior" under my call name? Not that I really care but I was just curious as to why because I don't recall every putting anything close to that on my details.

When you post a certain number of posts then you will be in the next group and so on. It just means that you are fairly new.

I was more curious about "Weekend Warrior". My wife will definitely agree that I am a bit more than a weekend warrior lol.

You're one of the reasons that I asked. I figured that it was something like that but we joined in the same month and yours says different than mine. But I guess it goes by post count.

Yeah it does. Look at my post count. I am on here all the time. Wife said little remarks at first but now, she's use to it. I love this forum and I have learned a ton being on here. Lap top, magazines, home target range or woods is where I am usually and its all about bow hunting.

I started with ArcheryTalk and my wife was the same. I had a little issue with a moderator on there (unreasonable powerhappy cop). Since then, I have found this site and I really like it. AT uses the same format, which I am used to and like, but there are more people on there. Which is good and bad. Things move quicker but there is a lot more bs to wade through as well.

Your lucky mine read "ASS HOLE" for over a year and I sure in the hell didn't put anything close to that on my details.

While every post I make is intended to be useful, encouraging or inquisitive, it is still in the back of my head that the more I participate the quicker I move away from being a newbie to the forum and more knowledgeable about bowhunting in general.

I try to remember to put some value into my posts still. After all, a person with 3,000 posts to their name who never says anything of value or interest might as well have been quiet in the first place.

I agree. I try to make my posts on things that I might know a little something about. Or at least so that I can get blasted for shooting a rabbit haha.

    Guilty conscience?

Whatever Dan, I've seen your posts. Considering you guide and personally hunt across two countries, you couldn't post something without accidentally being informative.

You ever hear that one about the rocking chair? It'll give you something to do, but you'll never get anywhere.

I have asked a lot of questions and I also have tried to helpl out woth things I have experienced. Although I am new to the hunting world I have gained so much knowledge. I feel that if I don't share it I may forget it. lol

Call it what you will. When you have aspirations for the outdoors and the living it as a lifestyle, it's hard not to admire (even if he is a Canadian). :)

BTW Christine, I've shown the picture of your boat and truck full of carp to about three people who aren't on the site and challenged them to start smoking the carp they shoot.

Call it what you will, but praise is free and I don't mind giving it away :)
