Not looking for a which brand is better debate. But I am just curious what made you buy the bow your shooting.
    -Quiet
    -Speed
    -Steady
    -Looks
    -Value
    -Etc. Etc.

What feature does your bow have the most of that made you get your wallet out and buy it?

For me it is quietness. There was not much vibration felt when shooting the bow for the first time and very quiet.

Buying my new bow was a few years in the making. ever since the Z7 extreme came out I wanted it. Why? It looked great and shot great had a smooth draw cycle and was decently quiet and I recently found one online and bought it and love it.

The warranty was the last nail in the coffin, or I should say , the animals coffin . But also quiet, no hand shock, and smooth draw !

I just like Prime bows and the Rival is one of their best.....rock solid riser design, bomb-proof limbs, parallel cams offer excellent nock travel without lean issues, Flexis adjustable roller guide for tuning, high reputation as tack drivers, respectable speed.

"Why do I love my hunting bow?"

    Because my non-hunting bow sucks.

Some people have bows set up not to hunt with, that's why I exclusively was asking about the hunting side of it. Sorry to ruffle some feathers.

Nothing wrong with that Craze your shooting. Have one in my arsenal as well. You will get that bow you dream for. We all made our way through the upgrades.

Lol, no ruffled feathers here, just some light hearted poking.

I love my hunting bow because at the time the carbon bows were new and unlike anything else out there. I loved the look of the tactical black carbons and after I shot one I had to have it no matter what the price was.

I love mine because it gets the job done well. If I do my part it can put a 425 grain arrow traveling at 300 fps where it needs to go. Enough said.;)

My fault. Sorry I missed that one Most all bows today just look lethal so that is a major selling point. That's why accessories sell so well down to how we build our arrows. I think the buyers first impression of design is at the top of the list. Thanks for your input!

My bow short and compact very lite and solid back wall. A 2014 is a big upgrade from the 80's vintage proline to a helim

Yeah, I know a lot of people will say oh looks of a bow shouldn't matter and to some extent I'd agree. Doesn't matter if a bow looks BA if it doesn't shoot worth a crap it isn't worth having. With today's technology and the competitiveness of the market though bows now are kind of like trucks, there are a lot of really good ones across the spectrum. If they are mostly all really good shooting bows then at some point most folks are going to make aesthetics part of their decision on what to buy. They're pretty expensive and are a part of our personal identity, most people aren't going to buy a bow they think looks unappealing to their eye and especially so if another bow is appealing and shoots just as well as everything else.

Not sure I would consider my bow part of my personal identity, no I am sure I wouldn't. I don't bow hunt with anyone else, I don't shoot with anybody else, nobody else sees my bow. I also would not say I love my bow, nothing against it but it is a tool, I wouldn't say I love my lawnmower either it is a tool to get a job done. I don't need stuff to look cool I just want it to work.

My bow fits me very well, it is quiet, fast enough, and small enough for the trees I hunt in. I don't trim a hole in the tree you could park a truck in so a short axle to axle works very well.
