Why do manufactures show X-bows cocked and w/ bolt loaded vs vertical bows a released position?

    Why do manufactures show X-bows cocked and w/ bolt loaded vs vertical bows a released position?

    True, but why have the X-bows cocked and loaded with a bolt?
