Then move! Ive moved my stand a few times this year, finally tagged a big doe, and I'm getting ready to move it again on Wednesday.

I'm believer that the best chance to kill a deer is your first time you hunt a spot, but sometimes the sign is to good to leave, and you can stay undetected

You'll soon learn that you always see deer by the stand your not sitting in. At least thats the way it seems to work for me.

Watched two good bucks last Tuesday and Thursday morning run out into a cut bean field to get to some cover on the other side withing 10 minutes of each other. After watching them do it again the second morning I went in that afternoon and put a ground blind off the trail they came in on. Friday morning got in the blind with the wind in my favor, and never saw them figures:confused:. Never know what they'll do this time of year, sure makes it exciting though.

which way is the wind a blowing according to your stand? whats in behind your stand? as far as food sources, water, bedding, transition areas, funnel points? if they are coming in that close then you are doing something right be patient use your scent killer and calls if baiting is legal and you choose to do so put them something in bow range, use your scent, scent bombs, drag bags, the works. sometimes you got to know when to be passive or aggressive. good luck
