I just like the idea that the camera will make my home safe:)

I think there may be an language or culture barrier involved in here as well. That sells pitch does not work on forums full of adults knowledgable in this are.

To the original thread topic, I think if I want to detect something out as far as what is being said I'd rather just go into a time lapse mode to "see" even further. Just me, but thinking that the detection range is out so far it sounds like it will only increase the number of false picture triggers from trees and brush in the back ground.

Hence the continually. It happens on every thread on this forum. Not singling one person out by any means.

Obviously sample pictures are important to the people here, and it is to me. If you're going to ask $300 for a camera you better be willing to show me some results.

The owner of DLC Covert, please take a note here, Boly will drive the maker of 2013 Covert cameras, UO Vision, to bankcruptcy within 12 months. The reason? UO Vision stole everything from Boly.

SugarCreek, please take note here. You've stated in the past that your sole purpose on the forums was to promote the camera company you work for. You contribute nothing but spam and mindless dribble that no one really understands, or cares about. Your last post about driving another company to bankruptcy is tactless, classless and really not anything anyone on here wants to hear about.

From now on, if you want to post on this forum about your cameras, do so in the Manufacture's forum. If not, don't post at all. This type of mindless spamming won't be tolerated anymore.

You constantly say your cameras are better and now you say they stole your technology. Wouldn't that make the cameras the same?

By the way just because you type something in the box doesn't mean you have to hit submit. I will be the first to admit I have wrote stuff read it and thought that sounds stupid and did not hit submit. I guess you have not!

Fortunately, they stole only a portion of the technologies and designs from Boly and they are already obsolete.
A thief typically does not have the innovation capability. So, an upgrade puts the life of the thief to an end.

The cup has to do with angles and difference, allowing farther or wider responses.

Sure hope you have evidence of stealing before you make an accusation on an open public forum. The way I see it the bankruptcy might just be the other way around as a result of slander and defamation.

I have used a scoutgaurd for going on over three years now, and its a good camera. A b**** to set up because you have to have this little ipod looking remote to program it and you will forget at some point. I have had some problems with the camera as far as the IR filter it is broke so you have to put it in place when you hang the camera by shaking the camera around. Pictures are really good through it, video is hit and miss. All and all I have really loved the camera, but plan to buy a covert next because I really respect everyone's opinions are here. Are they mans trail camera gift from God as this man puts it... no.

BTW - I believe that Covert did sell a couple of models that were made by Bolygaurd....including the CA 3.0(and 4.0?) for example(not sure on which others but believe there were at least 2 of them). I would imagine they discontinued those lines due to lack of quality or customer service policies dictated by the manufacturer(Bolygaurd?), or cost of doing business with such an arrogant company(Bolygaurd?). I have said it before - Covert is at the top of my list if/when I ever purchase another commercial camera, due to outstanding customer service and overall performance as well as reasonable prices.
