Do you know if he truly believes or HE may just say he believes. It's up to his faith. We wont ever know what will happen to Sandusky when he dies.

This thread has driven too far off course to bring it back. Social Programs are nice in theory, but are terribly misused in reality. And don't quote some CNN special about a struggling mom, go down to the Social Security Office yourselves and watch who is coming in to get their free money. I don't have all the answers on religion, which I believe is the point in it. I just know it sounds amazingly stupid to say everything developed out of nothing mysteriously after having learned how the body works. All the regulation mechanisms to maintain your blood glucose levels alone is enough proof for me, that this doesn't just happen without having been designed. I don't know how or why God created the universe with certainty, only that I believe he did. I hope to one day find out all the answers. Until then, I will continue to believe, try and better myself, and help others when possible. I love the thought of social programs, I just don't like a standardized system in which I am FORCED to pay for programs that are largely abused. I would rather be allowed to help as I see fit. I am also out of here, but would love for the guys who openly mock Christianity on here to explain to me their beliefs if they truly aren't atheist. You believe there was a god who created the universe or no?
Some of us just don't care whether there is a god or not. Then there are the agnostics. I also don't think I mocked christianity. Perhaps you are talking about some other guys, though.
Not caring isn't answering the question whether you think there is one or not. It is however, the easy way out of the question.

Pretty smart answer. College is good to you. I don't live my life as if there is a god but I don't look down on those that do nor do I mock them. The only "mocking" that went on in this thread was you mocking atheists.
Bruce, I am a Christian Pastor and enjoyed the interaction with both you and Vito. I saw nothing offensive. You both asked some very good questions and made some very good thought provoking points. Thanks for including me.

I openly mock everything, has nothing to do with religion or faith. I believe my track record supports this. But to answer your question, if I had to label myself I would be agnostic, being that I believe it is impossible to know if God exist. That doesn't mean I don't think he could exist, but it is unknowing. And you'll be back...they always come back.
What if you don't believe he is real but still live life the the way he says to live it? Would he still send you to hell for the sole reason that you did not believe in him?
Looks like you can lead an exemplary life and still go to hell. So, a pedophile like sandusky goes to heaven and someone that leads an exemplary life will go to hell all because one believes in god and one doesn't. Not sure I want to go to that "paradise".
