I just don't think its mostly the seasonal hunters are to blame. I guess I'm what you could say a seasonal blogger on this website and when I'm reading the thread i see comments from both sides that shouldn't have been said at all and to the nonseasonal members how would you react if you posted a thread asking what you should take and i was to say i cant believe you thought of bringing this but not this wow that's smart. Your gonna defend yourself. And to the seasonal members how would you feel if you were a member all year long and you were being told of by someone that only post when the season is going on. This needs to be looked at from both sides. Don't get me wrong i have the up most respect for the non seasonal members they know their stuff but the two groups are gonna have to get along and learn from each other. I honestly joined this site in 2008 because the members were very helpful and i have learned a lot from the non seasonal members and i feel like any time i create a thread the non seasonal members already write me off and have sarcastic remarks all because a couple bad apples they now have ruined the batch.

I think October can't come quick enough! Seems like a lot of short fuses from both the new members as well as some of the people who have been here since the beginning.

IMO everyone needs to take a deep breath and back it down a few notches. It's just the Internet guys. :tu:

I think some people like a good debate...I actually enjoy a good controversial thread. If your one that dont, you dont have to read or comment just skip over those. I dont even open 90% of the threads on here...Which camo? What arrow? Which stand? How high, What bow? ect.ect.....Ssshhh, talk about some boring topics.

WHAT!? Just the internet? I think I'm going to hyperventilate.

I'm only here because of Dan. This place actually sucks.

Ditto. If it weren't for being able to push people's buttons and prove my vast wealth of knowledge, what else would the Internet be for anyway?!

And for those talking about just going hunting, I openly invite you to move to Birmingham, AL. I am 260 miles from my nearest treestand and I don't think even drug abusers experience withdrawals quite this severe.

Listen, Tiger Woods is/was great at golf because his father introduced him to it at an early age and there after he was constantly learning the world of golf, because of his father. Most hunters were also introduced to hunting by their fathers. Now every father is different and not too many of us wants to admit their fathers are/were wrong. i.e. My dad can beat up your dad. Veterans, Newbie’s, and seasonal hunters are overly eager to respond to something that goes against what you were taught or what they believe to be true.

With that said there are tons of people being introduced to the world of hunting everyday and not by their fathers? Some of these people come to BH.com to get advice and for the most part get it; however, some are a little excited and much like anyone else when you get excited about something you may make impulsive decisions or become careless with what you start a Thread about, or in posting a comment. Its mostly this overwhelming delight of what’s about to transpire in the upcoming day’s/weeks/months. Like JZ wrote about in his latest article about capturing a buck on you trail camera for the first time. You can lose sleep from that sudden surge of enthusiasm, not to mention post a thread about nonsense.

I’ve started threads just to spread humor to everyone; however, I never mean to come across as an arrogant Bast***, nor do I desire to upset anyone; however, I can bench press 400 lb’s. It’s not my fault that I’m a member of Team 18 the world’s greatest hunting team. I was merely chosen, like most of you, to be part of it. Just luck I guess, but please don’t be jealous.
Lastly, I’ve seen plenty of negative comments from sr. members and staff, so to put the blame solely on newbie’s and seasonal members are just preposterous. Everyone on BH.com has a moral responsibility to respect everyone’s thoughts and beliefs. (Unless, they’re from Fuzzy Wuzzy Bunnies) We don’t have to agree with them, but we should only offer useful advice, and not offense.

Your camaraderie means so much to me that…When you cry…I cry. When you laugh…I laugh. When you jump out a window… I laugh some more.

Siman08/OH, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

I believe this thread has run its course.
