Why all the negativity lately?

    There seems to be alot of threads started lately just to get people to argue. I dont understand the point of starting a thread knowing some wont have the same opinion as you, just to bash them because of that. Bow season has started for many and the rest will be open soon. I would think after a long wait to get back to what we all love to do, we would be happier and lot less bit@*%.

    Most of it is by new or "seasonal" members. Guys show up around hunting season and run their mouths'. In the off season, this is a much better place. Sure there are disagreements, but there isn't any ill-will toward each other. Nothing wrong with varying opinions, but the seasonal guys are like the dude that shows up at a party and has had way too much to drink.

    Ive noticed it on here and other sites as well.... everyones got an opinion and majority play along fair with the thread but then several guys jump in shooting their mouths off about non-sence and then the tuff guy I can type faster battle begins! LOL either way its for the bee's, just have fun! I know theres ALOT of young guys that are new on here asking for honest opinions from vet. hunters and people jump their ass about nothing.... Ease up guys were all out to accomplish the same thing!

    I noticed the same thing beginning a few weeks ago. I felt like I was back on AT!! We all have opinions, but most of us keep them just that way....opinions! Most of these people argue their OPINIONS like they are FACT. Good post Tom!

    I would agree with this.

    So, like JZ said in the thread he locked last night. If there are major problems, such as the racial slurs, profane name calling and the like, let myself or one of the other moderators know about it. We can't read every post in every thread and we're not always here, so starting a thread and complaining about something we may not know about doesn't do us any good and even makes things worse.

    So, debate all you want, but keep it clean. After a discussion with JZ last night, those that bring a warning upon themselves from us and keep it up will be shipped out.

    Its hunting season guys.....enjoy it!!! :woot:

    I find that MANY arguments could be avoided if stupid ignorant people were better educated and had more open minds. My favorite, and a part of the reason I only rarely visit AT is the post asking people opinions in an argument, then when the person gets answers that side with the person they were arguing with, people "are a bunch of a$$es" or "stupid dik's just like".....

    followed by:
    and then....

    There ya go, your daily dose of AT without having to even venture over..... :D

    Don't want to mess with the toughest kid in class thats for sure. You may have to give him a ride to and from the fight but.........
