LOl like Ted Nugent isnt the biggest sex freak in this world. Have you ever seen any of the VH1 specials? Ted's anything but wholesome.

But is he a badass, for sure

He "claims" to have never done drugs... Who am I to judge a man? No one. But I can think what I want.

That post was kind of a joke. but I really do admire what he does for the kids, and what not.
As far as the sex freak thing... Who on here isn't? How else does one get warm after spending the day in a tree?

My heros are the guys/gals that are out there each and every day protecting all of us. And all of those who have. Military, firefighters, police officers.....Those guys are out there doing that stuff for real each and every day.

My step dad. If ya'll read my blog entry over on that "other site" about my first buck, you've read about him.

My other hero is my grandmother. She is pert near 90 years young, blind as a bat, has CHF and the woman is never home! She's always out dancing, singing and playing her guitar......something. When my mom and dad divorced, we lived with her and my grandfather (who passed away nearly 20 years ago now). Even after we moved out, we spent a great deal of time there. One of the neighbors had a couple of small farm ponds, and she got us permission to go fishing in them. That's the way she is, ALWAYS thinking of everyone but herself. Anyway....my brother and I fished there alot, and caught a lot of really, really nice bass. And by nice, I mean pushing 8 pounds. Anyway, I digress. She is into doing things ourselves and buying as little as possible to do it. LOL...I remember one time she made some catfish dough bait out of some kind of green cleaning puddy, and God only knows what else......I thought, No way is this gonna work. She puts a glob of that stuff on the hook, and proceeds to haul in a 5 pound channel cat, ON A FRIGGIN CANE POLE!

She's recently fallen and broken her arm and shoulder, and I fear it's only the beginning. Even though we have no pictures of that fish, I will never, ever in my life and anytime after, forget that fish she caught on that stuff. SHE is my real hero.

I'd have to say myself. I'm the coolest thing there is. I'm good at everything I do. I especially admire how humble I am.

My Dad. If I can raise my kids half as good as he did my brother, sister, and me that would be saying something. I agree with Don, our military guys/gals are up on that list as well.

I would say Cal Ripkin, the man earned every damn dollar he ever made and busted his hump. He also has a respect for baseball that few ever do.

Don Beebe is another guy that in a sense is a hero. He came from a crappy college and got into the NFL, played in 5 Super Bowls and crushed Leon Letts hopes of returning a touchdown in the superbowl by chasing him down and knocking the ball out of his hands. Don now runs a speed camp for high school athletes and gives back to the game, he appreciates what he got out of the game and is giving back. I knew him growing up and mowed his mother in laws yard. I also played football with his youngest brother.
