Mine is a three way tie.....Clint Eastwood, Rick Flair, and Golden Richards. Most of you are too young to connect these three but if you can you're close to 50. SB
Please don't take this wrong...in all seriousness to me Jesus is so much more than a "Hero" it is not right to me to call him one. But please don't take that wrong. SB also saved
Clint Eastwood- A-List actor and director Rick Flair- Flamboyant professional wrestler Golden Richards- Fastest white guy I ever saw in a Cowboys uniform. I'm close to 50 but still don't get the connection. PK
Clint played Bad ass calm cool kill ya dead fast with a gun in the movies.....Ric played bad ass kill ya dead by trickery or straight up whatever it took and was flamboyant and mouthy....Richerds...fatest whiteboy ever who waited a whole quarter for the refs to not look while a DB who had dirty hit a team mate relaxed before the play ended and ended up being carried out on a strtcher because Richards was a bad ass killya dead in real life kinda guy. SB quit talkin and kill something
I'm gonna have to say it was my dad. He taught me to work hard to make an honest dollar, respect for others and to help those in need. He used his strong hand to keep me in line when I needed it and to show appreciation for those things that were given to me. God Bless you Dad.
The first person to say anything with the words, Norris, or Chuck, Is going to be e-slapped by me. I used to have "hero's". They were Kirby Puckett, but he cheated on his wife. Then it was Lance Armstrong...Same. That's just not cool in my book. So I gave up. Now it is real life people that I can only give praise to, like The Motor City Madman. He is one cool guy.
My hero's are the regular folks who live their lives with decency, graciousness and caring for others! Volunteer Firemen and Women who jump out of bed in the middle of the night to save peoples homes,Ambulance squad workers who do the same things to save peoples lives.Common every day folks like the coaches who give so much to youth sports, the people who give so much of their time to charitable causes.People who do these things for the right reasons, with not one concern if they recieve recognition or credit. I attended a funeral the other day,the woman who passed away was a member of a family of brothers and sisters all of whom have been clients of mine for 20 plus years. One of the brothers came up to me and told me how special it was for me to be there. My immediate thought was who the heck am I? Just a person who cares about this mans family. This same man is an electrician locally and is known to help people with emergencies in the middle of the night and refuse to take any money. He is a hero to me! The kind of people you would do any thing for because of the way they live their life,Hero's every one of them!
Defnately my dad. I have never been around a more caring guy in my life who would go way out of his way to help anyone, and I mean anyone. My dad has worked hard everyday of his life, never complains. He made me work as a kid for nothing so I could learn the value of doing a job right just to do it right. He is a caring individual always thinking about how he can help the next guy. But I think my biggest reason for dad being my hero is that he and I are best friends. We have spent all of the time in the world together and have an understanding of each others actions. I can honestly say that, although I know when he does he will be in heaven w/ his heavenly father, I am so unbelieveably scared of losing my dad I cant even think about it. He gives me all kinds of direction and advice and I have years before I learn everything that he has ever even forgotten.
My Dad, Brett Favre and any animal that lives outdoors and survives through the winters up here...There are many other people that i respect with total 'awe', but these three are the first to come to me....
Ken wins! Norris my hero, Jesus my Savior. Grandpa & Grandma Fitz, Grandpa (Korean Vet) & Grandma Hiley, Mom & Dad (Vietnam Vet), and all the men and women that have, are, and will serve our country. My real heroes!
