Really enjoy watching when roughed grouse come in, such a wary (not necessarily smart) bird and if you take your eyes off them, you wont find it again until it moves. best camo pattern in the woods. Last year I had a opposum chasing a grouse underneath my stand. The grouse played around for a while then flew away .

I like seeing foxes as well. Many times they'll come in and take a nap right near the stand. Pretty cool to just watch them do their thing.

Turkeys are my favorite, but we have fall tags now so that doesnt count. Coyoates as well, but i can shoot them.

My favorite non-huntable animal would have to be a fox. I have only seen two while hunting in my entire life, and never got a picture of one.

I really enjoy watching pretty much any animal but my favorite would have to be birds of prey aggravating squirrels. The bobbing and weaving, squawking, fussing, etc. Its all pretty neat to watch nature run its course.

I've only ever seen a few while deer hunting (and none while Black Bear hunting), but Black Bears are my favorite.

When video taping my brother bowhunting along a river in WI, we had river otters playing around us for about 25 minutes. That was great, but I still love those darn little chickadees.

Not a grunt tube..................... I use a special trick. I carry a small pocket note pad while hunting. When I spot a nature lover or a group of them, I take out the note pad and fan it with my thumb. They come in RUNNING!! They are practically fighting each other to get there first!!! Works awesome, they think it's money!

I think the most memorable was the time a red tailed hawk landed on a branch w/i 6' of me and enjoyed the sunset w/me. The difference between him and me was he scored that night on a rabbit just as night fell and I watched deer using a different path that night about 140 yards away.

Probably chickadee's during late season/snowy hunts.

I enjoy watching birds of all kinds, and grouse are definitely fun to watch as well.

I like watching bunnies in the woods. You don't see them in the woods that much and they act alot different. Then I'd like to see a hawk come and eat my bunny.

Sometimes watching squirrels can be very entertaining, and other times squirrels are very annoying. There is a big fat fox squirrel that almost drove me to insanity last October. Multiple times in early-mid October he climbed the tree adjacent to me, got to eye level, and barked at me forever. Biggest, fattest, loudest squirrel I've ever seen. I bought a few small game broadheads a couple weeks ago ...

My favorite animal to see in the woods is a red fox. Awesome little creatures... Also bald eagles. I've only seen them a couple of times in the wild but in November 2006 I watched 2 of them play for awhile in the air. It almost looked like they were chasing each other, taking turns leading.. This was on some river bottoms on the White River in southern Indiana. Re-introduction in the 1990's has been a pretty good success so far.

MO/Greg, I've been there. I hate enovying squirrels!

    GregH, LOL... "sounds like money"-Perfect!

I have always enjoyed listening for the first song bird to break the morning's silence. I think though, the one animal I still enjoying seeing the most is elk-even when I'm not hunting them.

    That would be awesome.

I saw a hawk get caught up in a tree,I believe he was trying to get a squirrel off a limb.
