You got that right! By the way my woods was looking last weekend, I took a gamble and changed my vacation to start a week earlier than normal. I leave for my trailer for three weeks this Friday. I will be out Fri. night! Man, I can't wait.

    Good luck all.

Well, I'm on a doe only urban management hunt the first three days next week, then off to Illinois to try and arrow a bruiser, so this is good news. :)

Crick, go out and have another morning like that. Saw my first shooter buck this evening. Also passed a legal buck as well. Fun stuff.

I had some of that last night. I must have seen a dozen does running all over creation around me. Saw a couple little bucks chasing through harassing them. I saw flashes of brown for about a half hour. It was pretty nuts... especially for October

It's about that time fellas. This is about the same time every year that the young bucks start getting a little frisky. I'm flying home next week for 10 days in the woods. Probably my last IL. hunting for years to come. It will be Texas whitetail from here on out.

I've seen bucks chosen does for the past week now, pretty cool! I've also called in bucks to the can/grunt calls as well! If these temps stay cool this next week should be good!
