    Ill be out in the rain tonight,

    Tommorow morning i have midterms, i may get up early before they start (9)...then my local festival here in town, followed by homecoming (for the 5th time ;))...

    Sunday morning is a possiblity, then Sunday night is a garuntee.

    First time I'm able to hunt with these cold temps we've been getting.

    I'd say Missouri and southern half-Illinois will be ripe for the picking this weekend...2-3 days solid rain, clear tonight, lower 30's...and cool all weekend...deer will be in a frenzy.

    Only 1 quick hunt for me this weekend...dang:)

    its been a long 10 days of NO hunting for me, my areas standard 10 day shut down of elk and deer seasons.. cant wait to climb in a stand in the morning.. 16 degrees projected for my area :)

    There will be a few this weekend..no doubt. I have utter faith, in myself, but it wouldn't be this weekend, I have a stand I'm so excited about, but I won't even step foot on the property till later in the month!

    I wouldn't count me out on another slick head though :)

    its raining..cold...good wind..ill bet on myself tonight....i dont no about a big buck..but a nice nanny would be sufficient to me..ha

    Im going to my favorite spot in Wakeman Ohio, dont hunt there often, waiting to the rut to kick in....but we spoked up a monster buck about a month ago..he was huge..hopfully hes still using this area...

    My praying for good luck tonight....let that monster walk in front of me...

    Is Mueller hunting this weekend? I'd put my money on some out-of-stater getting it done in Illinoiz. (even with it being a blaze orange weekend)

    I'll be out this weekend but I've only been seeing dink bucks.

    Thanks for the vote of confidence. According to the wind though, the only known shooter at my place may not be huntable this weekend. :(

    I've got a few other places we can setup on though, where I "might" have a decent shooter running around. We will see. I won't pass a fat nanny this weekend either, that's for sure.
