I am planning on it right bow. But the forecast is looking like 85 degrees and windy. I absolutely hate hunting in that type of heat. For one I really don't have much in the way of light hunting clothes. I'm sure I can scrape something together and two if you do shoot one you have to be quick about getting them out of the field and into a cooler.

I harvested my biggest archery buck last Halloween and have taken the day off again this year, I hope the winds are favorable on Monday

At this point I'm not too sure anymore about an all day sit and maybe even going to work instead. Temps are looking absolutely horrible nearing 80 degrees and signs are pointing to an increase before it gets here. We'd be looking at record highs for a large chunk of the central US.

Might have to hit it hard Friday through Sunday and accept the trick for Halloween. I don't do 80 degree hunts.

This is one models thoughts at 1pm Halloween Day. Those deep oranges and dark reds are downright nauseating, add in the steady SSW winds and it turns excruciating.

Halloween day is my favorite day to hunt of the year. I shot my big 10 pt buck on Halloween last year and have seen shooter bucks on that day every year. My father has also had the best luck on this day. As he always says to me "Halloween is when the big bad bucks come out".

Have to work Monday but will be in the woods Sunday. Most of the bucks in my area are still running around together, strange this late into the month. It's been about a week since I've been out so I hope by Sunday they will be in cruising mode.

I'm going to go in the morning. Wind will be just right for my stand on the top, my mobile moultrie has showed him coming through at first light for about a 10 minute stretch there. I'm gonna give it a try at least. Good luck to all hunting spooky day tomorrow.
