So as many of you know Cole and I are at the Kansas Monster Buck Classic this weekend working the Monster Raxx booth for Tom. So we end up setting up next to the QDMA booth. I begin chatting with the guy and tell him where I live and he replies oh, you gotta meet my Dad he lives there too. So an hour or so later his Dad shows up and we get to talking about our farms and turns out we are only a couple miles apart. which is odd considering around my little town I know most everyone but he is relatively new to the area. (4yrs) Anyway he gets to lookin at some of my trail cam pictures I have printed out laying on the table when he gets to one and stops....... gets a huge smile and says... hey guess what... I shot that deer!! This was a deer I call Lil Lucky a great 4.5 yr old hit lister. I'm super happy for him and I can already tell there is a great friendship in store. Also pretty cool to have completed the chapter on this buck even though he wont be on my wall. Next weekend I will be touring his farm and swapping my 2+ yrs of trail cam pics for some of his hero shots. On to the next one. This was the last pic I got of him, he was killed less than 24 hrs later
I hate it that you weren't able to get him on your wall. That's a nice buck! At least a new friendship was made!
Cool brow tines, that is a relationship that could work out for everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pretty cool, actually saw this on FB for Monster Raxx and wondered if it was one of yours. Kinda recognized it from some of your other pics, area anyway not the deer.
I'm happy for him. Always cool to get closure on a buck. Pretty excited to check out his property next week. It sounds like an awesome place!
