    Probably not me.

The first 1 1/2 year old doe I see up close is getting an arrow in her.

I would say someone in Wis, Min, Iowa, or Illinois, pretty much anywhere in the midwest. Didn't someone shoot a brute of a doe last year in Illinois?? Thought I saw some pics, maybe??

i think the mid western states will have the upper hand in this one,Wis, Min, and Iowa. IMO.

around my area its all agriculture fields everywhere. the deer arent suffering here and really get fattened up by the time season come around.

This one I'll venture a guess on.. since I know the dude personally and he hunts ground where doe's reaching 180 is actually common.

    JZ.. I'll pick you.

Perhaps he'll even grace us with a few pics of these friggin' things.

Actually.. here's a few.. visit the link.. the top 2 our of this same piece. Keep in mind Justin's about 200 pounds.

    Look at the heads!!!

Make sure these are actually weighed deer (dressed) If anyone does this. You hear of so many so called 160lb to 200lb doe's being shot, most often I call BS on It. Minnesota has some of the largest deer In the world, I haven't saw to many doe's exceeding 160lbs dressed but they are here no doubt. Take pics of the scale and make a believer out of everyone.

Having a biggest Doe contest Is a great Idea for a contest I think, lets do It!!!

More than anything - at least the contest would promote taking Does...which most herds can always use...I like the idea.
Hard for does around us to get big when there is 40 of them in the same field fighting over food!

Shooting a big old doe is one of the hardest animals to kill IMO. 1st reason is because they are pretty wise and do not get dumb during the rut. Second reason is they are almost never alone, so one has to draw with many eye's around them.

I'd honestly say that Jaws and myself have a good shot at this one. Body wise, the deer in NY (especially northern zone) get VERY big, very similar to the northern parts of the midwest. Northern zone NY you can't take does with a rifle either, so they do get some good age on them, it's very common to see 4.5-6.5 year old does running around.

160 and 200 pound doe get shot all the time.

It doesn't mean they were dressed already though.

After a few to many I "harvested" a 200 pound doe who was undressed, does that count?

I'd agree with you Mr. James.. you guys always seem to take down some giant doe too.

I still think its crazy how Jaws does it. Kudos to him.
