Come on guys ! Tom wanted to know who uses it in front of trail cams and that's it. Lets not turn this into a crab fest over hunting with corn as that was even part of the question. We all have our opinions on that but let's save those for another post. Thanks !

I use corn all the time. I put out about a 100 lbs every two weeks. I get some raccoons, but not too many. If they get too bad, I will call in the Coon Hunters! LOL!! Yeah the price of corn has gone up over recent years, but it ALWAYS brings the deer in. When acrons start to fall, I reduce the amount I feed. Then when the cold weather hits and all the green plants die, I ramp it up to 150 lbs every two weeks. I set up a MonsterRaxx site a little over a week ago and I stopped the corn to see how they would react to the MonsterRaxx. I will get the pictures on Thursday.

Do ya'll find that deer that you saw using corn on a TC are gone by the time season kicks in. I ask cause I have never seen a deer after the corn is gone and baiting is illegal in alabama. Seems to deer are only there for the corn a leave when it's gone. Or should I not hunt in the same place where the corn was?

According to the DNR CPO I spoke to at a hunter safety class yesterday here in ILLINOS.
You CAN use spray attractants as much as you want.
They have to be used on natural food sources such as standing corn, beans etc. food plots can also be sprayed.
It maybe used as a cover scent.
Now IF YOU have a problem with hunting over andy type of attractant (that is leagal where you hunt)then dont. Also as stated in the original post the contest is to use it is for trail cam pics...............................

Corn does work well. I've noticed if you use field corn with the husk on it gets bigger deer in and the squirrel and coons don't hit it as hard. My cam takes video and they peel it like a banana.

I use corn at all my trail cameras. That is my primary attractant for deer here. It works well here. Put me down for trying the attractant.

I put corn out often. It is illegal to hunt over in IN, but it works well to see who is moving through the property and to get the deer into a nice camera angle. My family has a couple hundred acres of farmland so it's typically in plentiful supply, except towards the end of the year near harvest time, but then it's in the fields anyways.

In NJ, it's legal to hunt over.....I've used it with some moderate success for both hunting and trailcams.....the deer get smart and tend to go nocturnal....they know a big pile of corn in the middle of a pine forest isn't natural!!!

Hey Tom, I use it starting about a month before opener at a couple stand sights. I usually spray it with vanilla extract to get them on it and I almost always put a camera over it somewhere. Vanilla works great but, I have and wether you send me your stuff or not, decided to trying apple juice for an attractant this year.
