Just like the title says and why? I have always wanted to give one a try but dont think it would be all that great for hunting. I would like to here your opinions.

I use a 1 pin sight. It's pretty cool b/c you can't get confused on which pin you're using. Down side: If your deer spooks any you have to adjust the lever to change distances and MOST times you don't have the time to do so. They are also heavier b/c of the added section for the distance adjuster.

-I will be going back to a 3 or 5 pin sight next year.

I do! I use a HHA Optimizer, which is adjustable. I don't like the clutter of all the pins, and it works for me!

I do....I actually like it a lot...gives me more visual and it doesn't confuse me with accidently shooting another pin....shoot it enough times and you'll know what you're shooting...ideally, you're shooting under 40 regardless....set it at 25 and shoot enough to know how low/high you are at 10-20-30-40-50....

Thanks. I hate the clutter of my 4 pin sight. I also like practicing long distances and a 1 pin would help me with that I believe.

I only use (2) pins. One is for 25 and in and the second is for 30-40.

I been toying with getting the New Trijicon bow sight....I really like one pin set up. On 90% of the shoots that is all I use anyway...the other 10% are were the precise adjustment is what I like....Range him at 47..set the sight at 47 and just worry about making the best shot I can, no guess work.

This is why I am considering one. Most of my shots I can figure out long before deer come in so I would set it for that range then adjust if needed.

I shoot with an HHA. I absolutely love it. Its deadly accurate and I feel more confident taking shots at any range out to 45 yards because its so precise.

I have switched to the truglo range rover this year. So far I like it alot for practicing farther distances. I had a hard time with my 4 pin sight when it got to low light they seamed to blur together somewhat for me so I think this should help me alot.

I have an HHA. I hunt mostly over kill plots and know my shot distances without using a range finder. I set it at 25 and am good to go. I also dislike the clutter of multiple pins.

Love my HHA optimizer. I continually am looking for a different site that I like better, but I personally just can't seem to find one.Only thing I can say negative about it is what happened to me last year. Its where you range a lane and set your dial, then and as the deer appears to be entering it you draw and the deer cuts and ends up 5-10 yards closer or farther. Just need to practice shooting 20-30 with your 20 and 20-30 with your 30 and so on. With fixed pins this is easier to account for as one would then just switch from their 30 yard pin to their 25.
