Not trying to be jaded but I don't think the kids in the video are just good kids that got caught up in a bad situation, they are scumbags no matter their age or socioeconomic situation.
Germ, I would bet without a doubt that their lives are a mess. However, just because they are black and young doesn't mean I have to look at them through some pity party lens when discussing a horrible act they committed.
Not having a pity party, just point out this is how some are raised, it's all they know. So why are some so shocked when they live as adults what they were taught as a child. For my wife's master she did a stint at the boys prison for lack of a better word, the stories she told me. When I coached football and basketball and had to deal with a kid that was a craphead I always wondered what the deal was, once you met the parents it all made sense.
