I've been doing the reasearch all day and belive I will switch to feathers. I am thinking about the Rayzr feathers. should still be relatively quiet in flight.

Because I am already tuned for the year the switch will come this winter after season. I am planning on doing a breast cancer logo on a white to pink fade wrap with two pink barred and one white barred.

I prefer the bases on Truflight feathers. I've tried others but I will stick with Truflight for now.

Once again, you'll have been helpful in helping me stimulate the economy in all different parts of our great nation.

Like the barred in Red and Yellow - so now I need to order some of the onestring wraps with an eagle globe and anchor...little Marine killing machines

    yuuutttttttt

The only issue I found with Razr's are they don't shoot fixed heads when wet worth a crap.On the otherhand,I have no issues with 4" feathers at 40 yards soaked.

My son tried the razr on his 40# bow and to get them to stabilize as well and be as forgiving for him was to go 4 fletch,so we stuck with the 4" for him as well.

They are great prices and a great feather with a very narrow and consistant base.

I shot Truflight exclusively for over 10 years (no comparison to Gateway...) but I've been using MeanV feathers the past two and really like them as well.

In fact, I need to send Dan an e-mail and see if we can do lunch Thursday and have him bring me some more... :)

I've shot 4" feathers for 10 yrs. now and will never change. Another thing I love about feathers is how they look soaked with blood!

I have to honestly say that I can tell no difference when shooting 4" feathers vs Blazer vanes, but I've switched back to 4" feathers this year only because they should slightly increase my FOC and they look cool.

I do. Four 4 Inch feathers to be exact. Shooting 4 feathers Is a tad bit more money but In the price of arrows and other archery related things It Isn't nothing. To me having more steering (4 fletchings Instead of 3) Is a benefit.

I still shoot 4" Duravanes just because I haven't been given a reason to switch yet.

I changed from 3 inch feathers to 2 inch blazers this year and im having a hellva time having any broadhead fly right. I might be making the switch back to feathers here soon if it doesn't get any better.

I'm telling you. I think there is something to be said for this. You need to do everything you can when you have a big old fixed blade on the end. Consistent arrow flight is well worth it IMO.

If you were able to get a 3" to steer your broadheads then I would almost bet you are having some kind of contact issues with the Blazers and maybe with the feathers.Feathers are just that more forgiving to contact than vanes.

Stripped, onestringer wrapped and fletched two last night...leaving two bare for some bare shafting tuning

Wife and kids think they are neat, I'm kinda so so - kinda wish I hadn't got the barred ones.

    I can live with them.

My son is still shooting 4" vanes with his browning bow. He is also known as frog_slayer on this here forum.

Sean, those arrows are sweet! I like the barred look and they will look even sweeter when they are stained with blood.

Thanks Brett, kinda neat rolling your own...

Just got done spraying the stands with some camo paint, not sure why I didn't realize last year how badly they stand out in a tree.

got the new blind out also, its really a great blind
