Who started you bow hunting?

I had cheap fiberglass recurves as a kid but got serious at 16. Self taught. I live in MA and back in 72 we only had a 6 day shotgun season. Mon. thru sat. I couldn't even see a deer then but read in the hunting abstracts that "Holy cow bow season was a whole 3 weeks long". Now thats gonna improve my chances. Never looked back. 46 yrs. later I'm still flinging arrows.
