I always used to site my bow in without my quiver on then after I put my quiver on, that added weight was something to be desired to say the least. So now I take it off when I get into my stand, that is the highest recommendation I see here.
Mine has never even seen the side of my bow! I bought a backpack with side compartments that my kwikee 6 fits perfectly into. I modified my quiver with a hanger before I bought the backpack.
Since I do mostly Spot & Stalk then I like to practice with my quiver on my bow. When I hunt off of the ground I keep all of my equipment in one piece.
looks like its a good thing quivers give me the shivers , its off when i hit my stand, if`i stalk hunt i do put it back on, always worried i would blow the shot though with it on
I don't hunt with it on. I'm 99% a treestand or blind hunter and I take it off. If I did any spot and stalking, I'd practice with it on and leave it on all the time. Consistency is key.
