Exactly. Even though I can shoot both ways I've always taken mine off on the stand. I don't want to be trying to get my bow off the hook and get positioned with a quiver full of white wrapped and fletched arrows waving around. Even if they weren't white it's just a lot more mass to be moving around at the moment of truth.
White fletched arrows won't get you busted any quicker then black fletched arrows. My quiver never comes off. Too many Important positives In having It on- quieter bow, less movement In a tree, quicker when getting an arrow with It attached.
Mine stays on. Partly because its a pain to get off with the screw that holds it to my bow. Idk why bowtech made it like this but it is an '03 model lol. Also I dont shoot any different with it on and it is nice having an arrow so close in case I miss. Never had it spook a deer before.
My thoughts exactly, I screw in the the bow holder and the quiver holder before I even pull the bow up.
Same here, except for a couple years back. Whacked a doe from the ground, while walking to my afternoon stand.
I take mine off because I practice with it off - I don't want to change anything up when I get into a real shoot to kill situation. That blasted thing could throw me off a little bit and cause me to make a form adjustment that will cause me to miss totally or make a less than perfect shot. Simply put - WITHOUT
Off and it never goes on my bow. I have two quikee quivers (6 arrow and 3 arrow) that I attach to my backpacks (4)which all have a kwikee receiver on them. When I get to the tree I take the quiver off the pack and usually hang it or leave it on the pack.
I made up this back pack with a quiver on it 4 years ago , gonna use it again this year , i never use a bow mounted quiver
