I went bowfishing in some flood waters from th Mississippi tonight. I drove past this spot that got cut off from the river after it went down. I could see carp swimmimg around in the shallows, so I figured I had to try it. It was probably about 5-6 acres in size. I got a couple wading out in it and most of them as they swam across a shallow spot that was a field road. I nailed 7 in all. The biggest weighed 7.6 pounds.

Thats awesome. I have never even bowfished from a boat yet. I just think its cool to be right there with the fish, especially when you drill one. Me and a friend shoot gar and carp in a creek, we dont even have lines tied to our arrows or anything.
