Go to Archery Talk and ask this question. Grab some popcorn because it will get interesting.

Just about any major manufacturer makes good compounds. The key is finding the "best" for you. Only way to do that is to put them in your hand.

I think Hoyt's are the best out there right now. Here are a few of the deciding factors that made me get serious and get Hoyt. Is there any other companies out there that can make the claims Hoyt does with there designs? Info below taken from Hoyt.com.

5 Layer Laminated Limbs: Virtually bullet-proof. We’re constantly hearing about limbs breaking in the market. Thankfully they’re not ours. How many bow companies build their limbs to withstand 1,000 dry-fires*? Only Hoyt builds rock-solid limbs engineered to survive such rigorous testing standards. XT Series limbs are contoured, pre-stressed and laminated with our proprietary Five Layer Lamination process incorporating Uniform Stress Distribution (USD) Technology. The result? A perfectly engineered stress profile that eliminates “hot spots” that plague lesser quality flat-glass and solid-limb designs. Hoyt XT Series limbs are without question the strongest, most dependable, longest-lasting limbs you’ll find anywhere.

    TEC Risers
Hoyt’s industry-leading TEC risers are renowned for their inherent, unmatched stability. TEC riser designs offer minimal flex, twist and recoil, all of which result in compromised performance and damaged, fatigued risers. The TEC riser design greatly minimizes inaccurate, inconsistent, unforgiving arrow flight and ultimately results in a substantially longer-lived product. And just like the new TEC LITE risers, Hoyt TEC risers are built to survive an amazing 1,500 minimum dry-fires.

    HOYT BOW WARRANTY
Hoyt bows are engineered to be the toughest, longest-lasting bows on the planet, and they come with a warranty that reflects that. Read the warranty terms below and rest assured that you’ve purchased the best-built, most dependable bow available anywhere

    HOYT COMPOUND BOW LIFETIME WARRANTY
All 2002 and newer Hoyt compound bows are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship to the original owner on all risers, limbs, limb pockets, and eccentrics for the life of the product.

HEY GFY Camp...Don't forget, does it taste great or is it less filling? In my humble opinion, Bowtech because that's the one that I felt met my needs and shooting style...
