Maybe its because he is always showed as a horse with the ball in his hands, plowing people over

Or maybe the lack of a famous "passing" play..that i can remember at least...such as VY to Limas Sweed over Ohio State.

High school matters just as much as the NFL does to this discussion :D

Guys that come to mind, Reggie Bush, Charles Woodson, Barry Sanders but the king since 1985 imo is hands down Bo Jackson. A complete stud athlete, had it all and would have killed it in the NFL and Baseball ...too bad he tore up his hip. Ever see that guy play basketball. Plus Bo loves hunting, Hes got my vote.

Bo Jackson that's it...that's the list! And I'm not even an Auburn fan.

I agree with Bo as my choice, and Phillip I know you hate seeing those highlights of Hershel running over your guys. Dion Sanders changed the game from a corner perspective and return specialists. I do not think he was the greatest, but Charles Woodson, was never and still isn't Dion.

USC In my opinion gave that championship to Texas, Texas didn't earn It. USC didn't have It that game, specially their defense.

Amen to that brother, he ranks right up there, and he has had himself a pretty good pro career too, is he still with the packers?

Tim Tebow because.. he's my favorite! But he has to be in the argument simply because he wins.

I also think that saying Vince Yound is a better football player than Tim Tebow is just assinine, but that's just me.

i've been arguing this exact thing at another board...

he's my single reason why Tebow is teh ghey.... cuz this is his chick and he claims to have never "hit it"... I'd totally smash that filthy, wash, and repeat....

deion did not have to tackle, he shut down the whole side of the field. Only time he needed to tackle was when a running back or someone else's man broke free over there...and then dieon would hop on their back and ride em till help came. Hey I am in full agreement that he was the worst tackler in NFL history, but would you step in front of Christian Okoye if you were 5'10 and 165 lbs...he got paid to run a 4.1 40 and return kicks highstepping all the way. Man it was fun watching him when he was here, and those were some bad teams.

I'm not saying he was the best, but Rocket Ismail was a great college player. I hated ND but loved to watch him play.

Ron Dayne has to be considered. All time leading rusher, two rose bowl championships and a Heisman.
