I'm CONSIDERING trying a cellular cam out, and of course this one has my eye due to the price point, and the fact I can harass Pat if I have problems. :D

I know what all is involved (I think) for setting up the SIM through AT&T (I have Verizon), but I'm looking for reviews of how it's working in the field for everyone. Is it consistent? Battery life solid? No communication errors between devices?

Just looking at it as an option for my cabin which I only get up to every so often and I'm considering hunting it a little more starting next year. I have an idea for a placement, but I won't be up regularly to check it, either.

Let me hear the good and the bad.

Seems like someone had a thread about the, going not too long ago? One of the Ohio guys seems like.

I've got one on my short list as well, we just do not have great service at the farm but also I'm not there all of the time to check cameras.

Matt, I have never had any experience with the Covert cell cam but I have seen pics from other cell cams and they're not very good. I know you run some homebrews so I know you are used to high quality pics. That is one factor that has kept me from going that route. Now if your purpose with them is inventory then I'm sure they will do the job. I am most anxious to see a cell cam that will transmit high quality pics. It would sure save a lot of gas.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

Jim, definitely something I should consider. I love quality photos, that's for sure.
