Well, I spent far too much time tracking down and organizing my hunting gear last weekend, but it's done now. Last night I disassembled a few broadheads and sharpened all of the blades just to be safe. My son is shooting a 400 grain arrow out of a 45 lb bow so penetration isn't going to be the greatest and I figured every little bit will help. Plus your broadheads can never be too sharp.

We'll be in a tree in a few hours so here goes nothing.

Whew! Its not just me. Every year man. Every year as far back as i can remember i say i will be more prepared for the next season. Then i realize im still in the rat race of life and im in a mad dash to even find half my gear and go buy my tags. Truthfully though i think i operate at my best amongst chaos. Let the games begin.

Can we get the crops out already? 1 I want to hunt 2 I want to drive to work without dodging deer.

Crops are coming out at an astounding rate around here right now. I'm not sure I've ever seen this many harvested fields by the first week in October.
