Using that logic, I shouldn't watch the NFL since I'm older than 98% of the players.

What does the age of the player have to do with enjoying the sport? I've watched my local high school football team on Friday night. Does that make me a weirdo?

This is dumb. Also, college students are adults...not that it matters

I'd rather watch college than any professional sport. I'd be hesitant to say they are the highest level.

You could take the NCAA National Champion and play them against the worst team in the NFL and the NFL players would crush them every time.

I'm not so sure about that. It wouldn't even haveta be the National Champion. I'd take a couple different college team from the past couple years over the worst few NFL teams.

As far as getting ready for college ball I'm pretty curious as to how this playoff will work out. Still think they could of expanded it a little. There already a pretty easy model to follow in the lower divisions of cfb.

This is absolutely true. HUGE difference between professional and amateur players. That said I love watching college football especially the big rivalries.

The NFL talent level is easier to grasp if you understand the math. Millions of kids play high school ball out of those millions about 10,000 play NCAA football out of those thousands 1,500 of the most talented players make it to the NFL. Sure some good players go undrafted but the NFL is the best of the best, the speed of play is not even close.

More accurate numbers 1,088,158 High school football 12,650 NCAA football 1696 (including practice squads) NFL

I am a huge CF fa. Nebraska and Florida State are my 2 teams. Growing up in Nebraska, the FSU/NU rivalry was the best. I learned to appreciated great coaching out of Osborne and Bowden and the 2 teams excelled through the 90's. Nebraska is still a little shaky, but I don't know if they were ever be a powerhouse team like they were. Football isn't about how strong and physical you are anymore, and Nebraska cannot recruit like the SEC/ACC schools. FSU should have a promising year if Winston pulls his head out of his ***. I am heading to Dallas this weekend to watch them play against OKS.....we will be able to tell a lot in that game if they will have a good season.

    Nebraska - 10 and 3
    FSU - Undefeated B2B NC.....hopefully
