    I've always been content to stay close to home but I'm going to start seeing what it's like on the other side of the fence.

    SD for a combo deer/bird hunt this fall.
    Preference point in Iowa for whitetail.
    Preference point in Colorado for elk.
    I also have a 5 day hunt planned in the NE sandhills, completely different type of hunting for me.

    I put in for my Colorado Mule deer tag I have the itch again after 20 years to shoot 1 but I doubt if I'll get it. If I don't draw I'll just elk hunt.
