It's that time of year again, who is putting in where?

I can't swing a hunt this fall so once again it's points only for me across the board.

    I have:
Elk in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming.
Mule Deer in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and Colorado
Sheep in Arizona, Utah, and Nevada
    Pronghorn in Wyoming
Mountain Goat and Moose in Utah as well

I will eventually draw all the Elk/Mule Deer tags in top end units....but the rest of the tags I am applying for in hopes that I draw any one of them in my lifetime....Gotta love the odds.

I live in Colorado, so hopefully I will draw my elk and deer tags again this year. I am also going to try for some type of Pronghorn tag in Colorado.

No out of state hunts for me yet. Maybe in a few years.

No plans for an out of state hunt yet although it is a goal of mine to hunt different game in different locales. With young kids at home, this goal probably won't be realized for a while. And I should add I am ok with this.

Getting points in Wyoming for Elk and Deer again. Going to antelope hunt with Dubs, so I believe I will lose my antelope points.

I should put in for points for mule deer in Colorado and Nevada as well as elk in a few choice states too, but I usually forget to.

I finally got around to putting in for a Wisconsin Bear tag. 6 to 7 more years and I'll finally draw a tag.

Eventually I'm going to start putting in for elk, mule deer and pronghorn tags, but it's gonna be a few years before I can even entertain the idea of doing something like that.

As far as I know right now, the only out of state hunt I have planned is Pronghorns in Wyoming in September.

Been there a lot. The beauty of that is that the tags are so cheap!

I'm just staying in the good old state of Iowa this year!!! Not that its a bad thing. Might try to do a hog hunt in Oklahoma or Texas though. But that will probably be next year.

Wyoming - Elk & Mule Deer
Colorado - Elk & Mule Deer
Arizona - Elk, Mule Deer & Sheep (will have 7 points after this draw)
New Mexico - Elk (this year could be interesting, maybe only 10% available to NR total)
    Iowa - Whitetail

I see some of yall are applying to build up points but are not expecting to be drawn. What if you get drawn but can't afford to actually go yet? Do you basically lose your chance for a while or what? Thanks. I really dont know much about applying and draws. Thanks.

That's a big risk, but with the odds not in my favor probably something I will not have to worry about. For example, the unit I applied for in Arizona last year a NR needed 12 points to draw.

So this year, if New Mexico is unsuccessful, off to Colorado I go. Course having more than one elk tag in mutiple states is a problem I would love to have.

No draw necessary! General Archery tags for early season Bull Moose, Either sex Elk, Mule Deer and Whitetail as usual - in my back yard here in NW Alberta. Of course I'll put in for rifle draw in late season for WMZ's 356 and 521 (bull moose and cow elk)...but I'm hoping it won't come to that!!
