K, gonna admit , up until maybe 10 years ago, I was a selfish s.o.b.
Not sure what happened but now I go out the way to help purdy much anybody that really needs it.
An older fella was worried about his roof. I went to take a peek.
    He has very little $.
6 hours later and much pain, I had it done.
He did have 200.00 bucks but I refused. Said a case of beer would suffice.
He may have shed a tear?
I'm in a hot bath now with a cold beer. Sore as crap but still feeling good.
    I think God would approve?

What comes around goes around. Good on ya man! I have to admit, I am a sucker for anyone with a flat tire, like I almost look forward to helping out. I wholeheartedly believe that it always comes back ten fold.

This is so much like my dad and I when we worked together. Always helping people out and we never complained nor expected anything in return. Good on ya bud. I still try to help folks out to this day.

I 've always been the one to help elderly nieghbors hospital and Dr. Runs, shoveling drives in the midde of the night in case of an emergancy, one of the life lines for a few. Those are never convenient calls. Though my best was an older gentlemen being evicted from the home he owned by the town ,ripped off by local drug addicts, called me. He said I have a deer tag, free to elderly, will you shoot me a deer. I said keep your tag I'll use mine or give it to another hunter. Do you think a doe would come any where near me after that! He would call to check and Id have to tell him I'm trying. Well one afternoon a nice young 6 pt came in and I shot him. Got him cleaned and took him to the older gentleman's home. He had some one that was going to skin and butcher it for him. Skins were bringing a few bucks. Well he hugged me in tears and said you have no idea you saved my life. 3 weeks later he calls me again and asks me to come down. He'd found some pieces of pine stained them and mounted that bucks rack as a thank you gift.

Before she moved in with family due to health problems, I mowed and weed-whacked the lawn for the elderly widow next door. I did this almost every week for three years. I never received anything more than a "thank you" from her niece after she and her husband moved in. But it was worth it. My sons learned, by example, that we should always help those who need it when we have the ability to do so. Even though they are only seven, they are always looking for ways to help others. That alone has been payment enough.

I help as many people as I can when a situation arises. Moved snow for 5 different people Sunday and turned down money from every one of them. Never have been in it for the money and never will be.

Sorry, WTH! I'm I looking at his roof?. We hired two guys to shovel off our porch and garage roof. Took them hours and it wasn't that deep, close. Biggest issue, no place to shovel it to but the drive. Thank God for front end loaders. Kudos.

    Well God Bless you!
Actually all of you , if you have kids as well, multiplied your efforts many times over. They do learn ,both my kids go way out of their way to help others.

This, folks, is why I like people in The Hunting Community. You never meet a more down-to-earth group of people. I honestly believe this is half of my motivation to take up the sport. So many of the people that you meet in the hunting community, and archery Community, are just good people. It's a shame that there are not more people in the world who actually care about someone other than themselves, and something that does not involve a telephone screen.

I like to think I am a helpful person but no way in hell would I have been up on that roof.
I do shovel/snowblow my old neighbors out though. Sore back is one thing, broken neck is another.
