This is just for a benchmark, Georgia sits at 19,189 cases. They open back up on Friday, let's see where they stand in May around the 24th.
That's not a fair argument, unless they are removing the deaths and recoveries to get that 19,189. If it is like IL and just about everyone else it will go up regardless if new cases decline
So it's safe to say we do not have over 45k people killed by Covid-19, but we do have over 45k deaths presumed to be by Covid-19
Conversly there are deaths that are covid related that arent presumed to be. Because Not evenone that is infected has tested or recorded or treated. Happens everyday.
I understand that as well, as well as we have no clue how many people are asymptomatic that may have already had it and recovered which would be the ultimate game changer. But the number one proxy in this pandemic is ultimately number of deaths caused by it, and like everything else, that number will never truly be known. Similar to how Birx stated ober the weekend that past cases are now being lumped into current daily numbers as theu come in. Some going back as far as March. Hiw thwy know this and cannot separate them into a secondary or tertiary category is beyond me. With the way the classify deaths and now add old cases with new cases to get the "total cases" accurate seems to me a way to inflate certain curves.
From what I can tell with a little behind the scene intel from working in the largest hospital in the state, the best course of treatment seems to be viral antibodies from those who have already survived and developed immunity. The trick is convincing people, especially the ones who have to be hospitalized for treatment, to be willing donate blood plasma that can be used in treatment for others. I am not sure of it but I think blood type also is a factor. I am O+ blood type, which I think is the rarest in the world. If I catch the virus and survive, I plan on donating as much blood plasma as I safely can for as long as is necessary. If I understand what I am learning correctly, the high risk patients with other health complications that have my blood type are among the mostly likely to not make it. There may be a little more to it than that. I am not a infectious disease doctor.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/04/21/world/coronavirus-missing-deaths.html This is panning out in my area. We have call volumes down substantially however deaths are over double the average. Here is a snippet from the article These numbers undermine the notion that many people who have died from the virus may soon have died anyway. In Paris, more than twice the usual number of people have died each day, far more than the peak of a bad flu season. In New York City, the number is now four times the normal amount.
Cuts coming to state & fed employees Correction, state and local... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/22/cor...ayoffs-coming-to-state-local-governments.html
People are not going to be happy, Pritzker sounding like he is keeping the state shut down at least another 30 days. Also reports coming out he is asking for a federal bailout and McConell has stated some states should consider bankruptcy. IL was way overboard before this and now they want bailed out completely. I've said before and I'll say again, even though I live here, I'm against a federal bailout as all that will happen is the same thing again. https://www.lakemchenryscanner.com/...ys-hes-ruled-out-opening-businesses-on-may-1/
Well, when you have a stay at homenorder that is basically a you can't open your business but go abouy anything else just not on our land. You can only keep an animal caged for so long, after awhile it will start looking for its escape options.
Amd also, I think he should have taken a similar approach to what NY did with New Rochelle and had strict containment around the Chicago area
Just arrived at my Tulsa office unannounced and it would appear my guys here have hoarded the toilet paper.. wonder if they'll mind me wiping my ass with their commission checks..
If you're into trucks that look like they were designed by a third grader with the pricetag of a premium real truck than by all means it's a bad ass alright.. I was looking forward to getting a new Bronco but I've grown tired of Fords bs and hype, assclowns every last one of them.
Not good. Especially for those farmers who are already struggling. https://breaking911.com/significant...s-closes-its-largest-pork-plant-indefinitely/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
