Early 90’sish I think.... maybe late 80’s. In don’t remember exactly, it was back when we were using the salad plate size floppy disks. The ones that were actually floppy and needed to stay in the paper sleeve so they didn’t get bent up, not the little rigid ones that came after them that had the metal slidey safety cover built in.

So that’s where the name came from.
We had the little square ones when I was a young kid. I always wondered why they were called floppy disks haha!

I honestly don’t know if that’s why they named them floppy disks, but yea, the original ones had a certain floppyness to them - kind of like a double layer version of the black plastic tray that a stoffers microwave dinner comes in.

Mid 80's, use the arrow buttons and space bar to hunt.

My favorite class/period of the day. Computers were the equivalent of 90" TV's back then.

Remember early 80's had a Texas Instrument TI-99, step up from Pong and the Atari 2600, but was by no means a gamer system

Haha, talk about timing.. I just accidentally hit the floppy disk icon on this forum and discovered that you can save or delete a draft of a post. Wish I would’ve realized that a year or 2 ago.

I remember when my school got the first apple computers, writing a program to make the computer to count and display was so cool.

He lost me when he said 102 cases in March, we had no idea.

I do like calm breeds calm, that's a great line.

Paying more for a gallon than what a barrel of crude costs. Think about that for a second.

Why is the price continuing to fall? Supply and demand has something to do with it, but surely it can't contribute to this large of a fall.

The contracts for storage for may are due, time to balance the books for the next month. Storage is costing more then the oil is worth so paying to move it out at loss is cheeper then holding it.
WTI contracts sold for - 37 for may. Thats a negative sign
