Friend who is a security guard at the DMV just posted a picture of plexiglass sneeze guards installed today at all the booths/desks. Looks like JB will be returning people to work May 1st, probably not all amd especially around the NE corner of the state.
Right now, while still seeing new cases, the recovered numbers continue to outpace the new cases. Down to 19 current cases with 19 tests pending or 19 people suspected, I'm not sure what their "under investigation" means.
Not at all, don't need it, didn't want it. Yet, as I stated earlier in the thread not one person who gets it is not going to accept it. I'd even further wager that those who said they will donate it do not. It went into savings where it will sit as I am not gullible enough to assume my job is secure 5 months from now. Won't be any help or talk about it then. Right now everyone is happy as a plum here, still getting 40 a week and OT onnthe weekends. They have yet to realize all those big mining trucks we are making parts for have already been purchased when times were still good. They are failing to look at present times, and how many were to be future orders are being and already are cancelled. It's going to take awhile for all of the effects to be realized, and just as long for consumer spending to return to a somewhat normal confidence level. Most will blow it, I guarantee the dispensaries here will have longer than normal lines for the coming days ahead.
Right to the savings account mine went. Will likely spend it on a gambling trip to Vegas or an all inclusive trip to Cabo, Jamaica, etc with 10 of my closest friends once this is all said and done with.
I'm really concerned with this recent narrative once you get the virus you become immune. Sorry they say that about chicken pox and measles and I had both these twice. I also went to school when we All got immunization shots mandatory. One shot, geez can't remember name right now but it often left a scar on your upper arm, 3 times because of no scar and records weren't available and officals wouldn't believe me. Point , some people just do not have the "best' immune response to certain things. Mine seems to be viral response in nature, since born. My son has the same issue and he was born big and healthy, raised with good nutrition and activity, so I have to think inherited. They need to not make blanket statements . Don't wait for someone to ask a " That's a Good question! " before explaining.
Cuomo GD stop your whining! Someone needs to do a montage on you. Your budget was in the crapper WAY before this pandemic and it was ENTIRELY your fault. The Feds. and the rest of country does not owe this state ANYTHING! You mismanaged ,over taxed ,over regulated, put illegals above resident tax paying Americans and last but not least, literally invited those you don't like to leave. Well azzhat they took you up on the offer.
I have this memory from my time in the Air Force. We were going to Honduras on temporary assignment and part of going "over seas" was to make up a packet with finger prints, dental records and such in case the plane went down. We had guys putting their small pox scars down as identifying marks. LOL. EVERYONE had those in the 80's. Except OND of course. Don't know how you didn't get one. It was not an injection. More like they carved it into the skin.
Other than Cortisone.. Most painful shot I've gotten as I recall. It did have a small scab over..just never left a scar, those school nurses were good liars when they said this won't hurt...lol Wasn't any better at a new school in Florida then when I had to have it again for college.
