I agree that the likelihood is in fact that this was a natural born pathogen. I also believe that China knew about it long before they fessed up.

I also know that "sciences" have proven many things in the past that were basically "proven" by deep pockets and later proven to be a bunch of crap. Florida was proven to be under water by now. We were proven to be out of oil many years ago and the list goes on and on. Scientists are no different than any other profession. There are always some for sale. Some will even prove to you that the earth is flat.

Sure studies can state just about anything, Oliver did a great piece on it years ago.

Great idea there.... a bunch of angry alcoholics going through detox is exactly what the hospitals need during the coronavirus outbreak.

    They were just wishing! lol

We are being very cautious and working from home mostly because we have a few older family members that we are trying to protect and care for. And, for the record, they are worse than the kids! My Mom was so mad at me when I made her cancel her hair appointment. lol. I was saved by the Governor the very next day when she mandated the closure of all salons in the state. But, the damage was already done. My business is slower than normal and I have gotten things done on my list that I thought would never get done until I retired! I have been working on our new cabin some and also working on a new shop/storage building that we bought in January. Also getting a few things organized for turkey season that opens on Monday. I have mown the lawn three times already! Just trying to stay busy and outside as much as possible. I will likely open the pool early and have to spend a bajillion dollars heating it just for something to do. lol.

I sincerely hope that this thread plays out with NONE of us taking on this illness. I admire and pray for those of you that are out fighting the good fight every single day to help keep the wheels on this bus. Blessings to all of you and I look forward to the day when I can get back to being an antagonist for sport. For now, all of you take care and be well!

I believe the word you're looking for is listerine.... I guess lysol would probably work in a pinch too.. Purell is another option... If all else fails there hasn't been a run on spray paint and glue yet, although if the TP shortage keeps up its going to be hard to find socks to spray it in.

Oh I’m sure they just found out. Just seemed convenient. Other than that I think I’m going to cut a 6 ft piece of conduit to carry around with me. People aren’t good judges of distance

Just get a 72" cattle prod, add some entertainment to social distancing.

My county up to 41 cases but believe you have to subtract the deaths and recovered for current cases

Another thing with this virus is it helps put into perspective how many rules and regulations we live under every day. How much bureaucracy exists and how crazy the depth and reach of government agencies and the like.

Pritzker also mentioned in his briefing today that he does not foresee large gatherings being allowed in the state throughout the Summer. Stating that until there is a vaccine he doesn't see it happening.

Guessing public lands will stay shut down until a vaccine is had.

Starting to think buying my lifetime hunting/fishing license this year was a wise move. Likely won't renew my boat trailer this year either.
