Got to work at 6, sent home at 7. Still have a persistent cough, plant manager sent me home. Glad I'm salary now, would have been 3/4 paycheck gone without using vacation time.
That dedication has merit on the profit side for you.. But I'm not so sure about the folks who work for/with you will see it that way..Just an Idea... Make sure they know you were setting the example of how illnesses should be treated. Come to work get sent home.... No points! My personal opinion--- funthem! Call in... Stay home! If you ain't there they will get to see what you deal with on a day to day basis. You have value.. Being sick and staying home just reminds them...
Germ, I have not, my wife and kids did in June and I did several tests and a clinic provided test. Wife had three shots and she's still pissed I haven't tested positive. I'm the last one standing from my family and my wife's family standing. 1 of 19 people.
China starting its disinformation campaign before the covid season kicks off hard. Saying they expect 800 million infected Chinese. 90% of Chinese adults are fully "vaccinated". I thought that was herd immunity?..or I thought once we reach 75% adult vaccinations we are all good?...or China is trying to become a world victim before everyone hates them again for hiding the covid outbreak and allowing its citizens to fly all over the world and spread it.
I think my wife is the only person that I know that has not ever tested positive. She has been exposed many, many times with no issues. She also took the antibody test and it showed that she has never had Covid, and she has tested literally dozens of times due to her job. I have to wonder if it has anything to do with blood types or past exposures to certain bugs. ?? Or some people like my wife and Germ are just too stubborn to get it.
Interesting point you made. My wife is the only one of our family who hasn't had it. AND she IS stubborn!! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Neither I nor my wife have had it. She got tested for some med appt and they told her they used a test that could tell if she had it in the last 60 days I think it was. Kinda sounds like an antibody test but why do that if they want to know if you have it now?
nope, havnt had it that I know of ... if I did it was so mild it flew by me un-noticed .. the dems will find a way to use a 'virus' once again to manipulate the '24 election .. just watch .. this country is so f'd right now ... smh ..
Yeah I got it but there should be an * by it. I avoided covid from the general population. My wife comforted a sick grandkid at a family funeral because my daughter had to entertain guests, she would do it again knowing she got covid.
Guessing this is gonna kill our economy in Q1, unless companies have built alternate split chains. China sounds like it's turning ugly. https://twitter.com/m/status/1604748747640119296
Been a crappy year walk thru the test area and see 1-2 million in inventory waiting to ship because of misc parts missing from fuses to relays to electric motors, has been a fit 1 week over time the next week a lull.
Amateurs! I've had it 3 times that I know of. None of them have been all that bad, and I've given up testing at this point. The first time I had it I powered through with Advil Cold & Sinus and went hunting pretty much every day. The next two times it wasn't any worse than a common cold. I think of it as getting my boosters naturally.
