It effects everyone differently.
For me it really sucked for 2-3 days; then kinda sucked for another 2-3 days...but I've had much worse sinus/upper respiratory stuff several times.
Personally I am happy to have gotten it when I did. Had some knowledge of what to watch out for, oxometer, alternative treatments, etc.

I mowed yard in that time span, and fully regretted it. Convinced it caused my cough to last nearly 2 weeks.

 

I had mentioned the rep at the show who was vaccinated and boosted and was cautious and still got covid twice. At the conference after the reception people usually go to the resort bar. I stay off the resort so I leave instead of going to the bar. The rep said to me you disappeared thought we would see you at the bar, I asked was the bar packed a hole to elbows like in years past? Yep he said it was packed, I wanted to cuff him and say how cautious was that?

 

My sister and brother in law got it from someone who came to a small going away party for a coworker. 2 of the guys had wives that were sick (with covid) that week and they still "had" to come have a few drinks.

BIL now has pneumonia.

Some people just don't have enough brains to give an ant a max gross load!

The Chinese claim they had to synthesize a monkey pox in order to look for a vaccine. This is total BS because it is widely available around the world. This coming out of the Wuhan lab where,wait for it...both Chinese and Americans were working on monkey pox...They wrote a joint paper on it..just before the ...out break....

I have about 10 people out of work that tested positive for COVID. I just need to make it until Sunday. Our work cookout is Friday with all the raw clams and beer, food you can eat. I need to be a 100% for that. Then the following day there’s a pretty good Grateful Dead tribute band at the local watering hole that I need to catch. I’ll stick to my regular routine of gummy multivitamins and eating and drinking whatever I want.
