The case rate 7-day average in Illinois is currently 200 per 100,000 people. 699 people are hospitalized for COVID-19 complications, with 72 people in the ICU and 21 on ventilators. At this time last week, the case rate 7-day average was 172 per 100,000 people. 688 people were hospitalized for COVID-19 with 77 in the ICU and 23 on ventilators. Pritzker’s new executive order also highlights the importance of masks despite the removal of his statewide indoor mask mandate.

My parents came down with it this week. Both their second bouts. My dad had it appx a year ago, my mom* about 18 months. My dad's is much more mild this time, my mom slightly worse. *mom may have been a false positive the first time. She only had a fever for one day and an upset stomach for 2-3 days. Positive at home test which are not very accurate.
Meanwhile, Walgreens keeps dropping mile- long receipts. Their data shows that VAIDs may be real- highest percentage rate of infections is 3x jabbed having received 'boosters' over 5 months ago...meaning they experience very high infection rates as time goes on.
