I’m starting to feel the same way about taxes, why should Americans be giving money to corrupt politicians who are willing to let the country take a nose dive for their own gain?

Just a hypothetical question, I’m not dodging taxes, but I feel like I should

After intense deliberation, our school board voted 5-2 to go mask optional when classes resume tomorrow.

I can claim to be oblivious to anything Olympic. I stopped watching them many years ago. I stopped believing our best of the best were actually competing. It's the who you know while some of the best were by past and tamped down . JMO.

No, it was Omicron that actually ended the pandemic. That makes it the most important part of the entire thing. Nature correcting humans interferences

I was going to state similar, I do not trust the teachers to be impartial and accepting of those that opt out of mask wearing. Shaming and bullying would be my guess as they fought so hard against it and ultimately lost. To think there will not be spite by many of them is a tall order.

I could see them separating the two during recesses lunch and possibly even in classrooms. Welding typed plastic wall curtains dividing the rooms in two etc.

for you plebs ... it dosnt fit the narrative of safe/effective (why, because the non-vaccines are NOT safe/effective)

Report: CDC Has Withheld COVID Data From Americans To ‘Prevent Vaccine Hesitency’

The New York Times reported this past weekend that the CDC has chosen not to publish huge amounts of COVID data, instead keeping it secret, because it fears that the information would cause ‘vaccine hesitancy’ among the American public.

The report notes that the withheld data includes information on boosters, hospitalizations, wastewater analyses, as well as critical information on COVID infections and deaths broken down by age, race, and vaccination status.

The justification for holding the information back? Fears that the data would be “misinterpreted” and lead to “vaccine hesitancy,” according to the report.

In other words, it didn’t fit into the narrative that everyone must get vaccinated and boosted no matter who they are and what their situation is.

I think there's a lot more teachers on the no-mask side of this than you think. This isn't a woke college in a big city. We may be somewhat close to Chiago, but we're in a predominantly Red county. My son's teacher told the kids on Friday they could take their masks off if they wanted to.

I doubt we'll see anything like this. I strongly believe it will be business as usual once kids get into class and everyone realizes we've been fighting over what amounted to nothing. Hundred of districts around the state have gone mask optional in the last 2 weeks and there have not been any reports of these types of things happening.

I hope you're right, for the sake of the kids. You know far more about your district, much like @dnoodles my children are imaginary as well

This was damn near the last fight to end most all mandates, hopefully it's the real beginning of the end.

I think my company is about to go full pre covid status. I hope so. As for companies who are backing their employees into a rock and a hard place eff them. Just spent about $500 on carhartt right before they pulled that. Im not rich so i didnt burn them but every tag and logo has been cut off. I will never buy them again. While most is more expensive i think i will buy from the list in the video below.

I see Prickster has appealled to the IL Supreme Court to keep kids masked.

    Tyrants will stop at nothing
