I was going to head out to California next week, see that they have masks required indoors, not going.
pretty sure that's set to expire in a couple weeks, and there is no indication they are going to extend it. ...until the next variant, that is.
I seen it on TV but cannot remember who the group/agency was to find a link online. They said that parents should start masking their children at home starting at the age of 2, not for their own or childs safety, but so the child would be conditioned to wearing a mask by the time they entered school. Either masks aren't going away for several years or they are going to try to keep masks in schools eternally. Parents will have to add N95/KN95 masks to their normal school lists. Crayons, kleenex, etc...
It's crazy to see the differences in how this is being handled from school to school. Another local district close to home did not end their mask policy, but when scores of middle school and high school kids showed up without masks, they directed all teachers to let them be and go on with business as usual. They told them to "encourage" the younger kids to put them on, but not force them to. Per a direct source, less than half of the elementary school kids are wearing masks today in spite of their mask policy. And no cops needed to be called. I would consider this if my kids were older and could fully understand the situation. Mine are in 2nd and 4th grade, and while they have some understanding of what's going on, I'm not prepared to make a scene on their behalf. At least, not yet.
I've watched a number of interviews with JB and he never seems to mention the legality of what he's doing. He only appeals to people's emotions and fears by talking about doing what's right and what's necessary to keep people "safe". It is truly amazing his inability to address the issue head-on from a legal aspect.
The issue of Ill being a true blue state is the reason, he does not feel any pressure, while in Michigan we swing back and forth. Whitmer barely even mentions COVID and has left the choice to local health departments. Guess what counties have mandates? The trend with Omicron Ill is in a lot better shape, has the numbers been mentioned?
Oh Geezzzzz...I made it all this time not having to have my brain probed(ha 're read that...Covid test)...My initial colonoscopy appointment they say I have to go get a test March 5th. Also found out hubby can come into recovery even though he's not vaccinated. He just has to mask up and have no temp. Then found out I never actually had a colonoscopy the last time,News to ME!' Apparently I have a rare twisting and folding in my tract. He wasn't able to get the scope maneuvered to where it needed to go. Thus the lower G I they made me have as well. He never told me this. He just said he had difficulty time and want the xrays as back up. So it's possible to have the same out come and need go through a dbl. cleansing again...WTH! At least this Dr. is honest.
I get it, I was referring specifically to the Arlington Heights situation. Someone segregates and locks my hypothetical kids in a gym like lepers, they better prepare for the most hypothetical crapstorm of civil disobedience they've ever hypothetically seen. If I had kids. Which I don't.
30.7% in Minnesota you fatties. To be honest not sure I believe it but that is what the googles told me.
During a company wide townhall meeting today at the medical school where I work, it was admitted that 3100 employees have not provided proof of vaccination or been given an approved exemption. 653 are currently pending an exemption decision. That means that there approximately 2500 who either do not care and are going to work until they are fired next week after the Feb 14 mandated deadline, or, they are just going to stop coming to work. That is 25% of the workforce. My exemption is still pending as of leaving work today. Imagine if it is like this across the country. Add complete collapse of health care in America to Biden’s presidential “legacy.”
