Thanks for the clarity ,though if you read what I typed , I clearly said. If this is true. So I put that out there and got a response of clarity from what I'm assuming is a NYS EMT. Though due to instances of other professionals having put that out there make this clearer. Live patient picked up and in transport their heart stops. So EMTs attempt to re start or wait for it to start God willing on it's own? Because the way it was stated is no intervention was occuring.
A friend of mine sent me this link, they talk about how China bought up a majority of businesses in Australia after the fires and started stripping them of their medical resources. Which also goes to show just how out of control it was for them In January/February. Pretty crazy stuff here. I am not familiar with sky news, but if what they say is true, then man alive have we been asleep over here in the west. I am not misquoting anyone, perhaps you should stick to your conspiracy theories. Shutting down China did absolutely nothing nor did it help, which is the point. Because we dragged our feet in testing, you are smart enough to figure that out.

I'll type this slow, I am not quoting you. When we talk about the response we had to this the first thing out of Trump and any lemming of Trumps is. "Trump shut down China", yes travel. So to get that out of the way for the lemmings I just put it in my sig for folks. So we can ignore all the other failings of this administration because see my signature. Yes to an extent, they ask about the drug, but her answer was not that stellar. Our good friend is a Doc at Henry Ford and I'll ask him when this is over, he's a bit busy. My main problem with her is she acting like a child-like, Trump does at times. Not impressed at all with how she has handled this. For my supply question readiness, she just made an excuse, in fact our lead Doctor made the same excuses. So the script was the same for them. In these times I want folks who work together and not make excuses. Look Trump does not get up in the morning and say "I don't want Michigan to have PPE". A sensible person knows this so I am not impressed with our(her) administration acting like that is the case, it's not. Looking at it in the past we see Bush and Obama are as much to blame as Trump is with the national stockpile. We can put congress in the past ten years also for failing to have us ready. We are too busy fighting over issues that were solved 60 years ago, so guess what it's our fault also for not demanding better.
Is it common practice that every single Republican thinks all of CNN is FAKE NEWS and every single Democrat thinks all of FOX is FAKE NEWS? This thread, and many, many others always come back to the same thing. FOX/CNN. I picture Fox/CNN news on TV's 24/7 just feeding information from their agenda and then having people just regurgitate it onto the forums and other social media platforms. Take a break from the political BS for a day or two and take a look at the big picture. Focus on some positive things like New Yorkers singing from their apartments every day at 7pm once the first shift of nurses and docs are leaving the hospital. Don't turn on Fox/CNN/whatever political station you watch. Don't read their articles for a few days. I guarantee you will feel better.
Fox is garbage. CNN is garbage. Same **** diffident smell. Republicans good, Democrats bad. Democrats good, Republicans Bad. Regardless of your ideological leaning I think it would be difficult for an objective/ rational person to think that either of these parties have governed us well over the 40 or so years. The allegiance shown by individuals for either of these two parties amounts to nothing but ignorant tribalism.
We do need viable alternative parties. It would also be a novel idea to have news presented as factually and unbiased as possible...maybe one that double checks info, has named (credible) sources...sigh. I agree Jake, just turn it off.
I received a pay cut and I'm an account manager in the trucking industry (which should be doing better than a lot of other sectors). Just thankful I still have my job.
I think on going to film a hunt today. Being home more often than not here lately has lead to a discovery, the squirrel population around here has gone unchecked. His March 13th news conference, his best day so far Getting Private Market mobilized and helping, I really don't think Obama or Bush could have the clout he does to pull that together. 2. His call in the Malaria Drug, he appears to be right and he pushed for that. 3. He got supplies from Russia this week, another job well done.(this week) I have called out our Democratic Gov here in Michigan, not a good job at all. Differences are I'll point out the bad, and I am not going to make excuse for Trump, Whitmore or anyone else. The guy I really like is Dewine, I am just sad he's 73, what a leader that man has shown to be. Yes I know I'll get jumped on this forum if you go against the grain, I really don't care. The point is to get a different viewpoint.
Fewer people die I think South Korea's number(0.97 percent) is more accurate because they got a lot of the people tested and caught more of the people who did not get sick in their data set. Not sure we could do the above here, but it worked. With testing and contact tracing you'll know who and where the virus is, we simply dropped the ball on that part. Then Governers didn't lockdown their states fast enough(Besides Dewine) and we had no clue who or where the virus was. Which led to the community spread phase, once you hit that is pretty much over and you are just in mitigation mode from my limited knowledge. New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Florida, Lousiana, and Washinton are in this state now. We will have more states follow because we were so late with testing and locking down, see Georgia. Dr. Osterhelm's book(Deadliest Enemy) is very good and as taught me a lot, meaning my entire view on situations like this was wrong, 100% wrong. So that's where when Trump's says "We shut down travel from China" it simply does not matter now, was it the right call when he did, 100% correct. Trump administration and States failed in step 2 which was massive testing of everyone to find out who had the virus and where they have been(contact tracing). This is what led to community spread here which nullified Trumps' correct and 1st move to shut down travel from China. That's why "Trump shutdown China" simply does not matter at this stage. See the chart South Korea flatten the curve, we were going to have higher numbers because of population, but we are nowhere near of apex of our curve, we are still a month out in the hotspots now. My guess is we will get a second wave from the states that were slow in locking down. So this is going to extend through May is what I am thinking.
