That's what they are. They think of themselves as omnipotent demigods, and us as ignorant chattel. They use every tool at their disposal to force us to serve their bidding.

Money talks and bs walks. Ok Hawaii, we simply wont travel to your state. See how long your vaccine mandates last when the real cancel culture folks with money start playing the game.

They like “science” when it’s convenient but prefer shouting you down and canceling you.

This book has been great for making SJW have fits…

Hawaii is way over rated takes forever to get there, the traffic sucks, everything is expensive. Granted I was there for work but it is not a place I really want to return to.

I personally have not. But know someone who got the booster shot and was sicker then when she had COVID.

that's awesome, thanks. I have ashamedly never read a book by Sowell, read several articles and seen many short and long form interviews/speeches, but never read him.

Looks like a good birthday gift to put on my list.

I know 3-4 people that fit that bill. And they had C19 before the shots.

yeah, to me the main draws of Hawaii (aside from the natural environment) was everyone speaking English and not needing a passport...now that you gotta show papers to get in or quarantine for 5 days they can piss off.

So I left work yesterday at noon to go see the orthopedic. While I was gone the Big Guy showed up and scheduled a lunch meeting. When I read the e-mail I was seething, we have not done lunch meetings since covid started. Just in the last couple of weeks we had people out with covid. meetings have been more efficient without lunch involved. So today we have a lunch meeting today at an hour and a half I stopped the meeting and said get back to work, this meeting has not been productive for the last 1/2 hr. Gigantic waste of time and $.

Historically all those types of meetings suck.

    Sometimes it's not about productivity

I'd rather work for someone who lays out expectations yet still shows appreciation than someone who is totally indifferent.

As much as I have hated "team building" exercises, I do appreciate the boss buying a meal

During covid no meal meeting were clear and crisp we were discussing pricing structure on submersible transducers, this was not team building it was a meeting between sales, customer service, purchasing and a few others. Sure it's nice to have a meal but did I mention we had people out with covid last week? Zero need to increase possible exposure at this point.

Didn't say it WAS team building. I said I hate team building exercises.

Let er rip. Get that "herd immunity" that everyone is talking about.

If the big guy wants to do something, it's hard to stop isn't it?
