So today a gentleman all masked and gloved up started a conversation with me as I cleaned my food. He said something that had crossed my mind a while back. So many people he knows got nasty sick back in November and December. Symptoms very similar to to CV19. He wondered if it wasn't here long before we knew. Thing is I know ours was flu B due to daughters test. Though I wonder if China wasn't doing virus test drives here before this, but their guinea pigs accidentally infected a few before they got shipped out. That this virus strain was worse than they even thought and lost control fast. Only thing is you'd think they'd make a cure before releasing. So many theories will come down the pike and way too many B movies.
I truly wish I could comprehend your last post to me, but nope , no I can't. I'm glad it amused you so to make it though.
Actually If you are to quote me , Id appreciate it if you actually quoted the entire sentence. Yes I know as in democrat fashion you did so, doesn't make it correct.
So I stopped posting daily numbers because aside from deaths, the number they put out is useless. Today during the daily briefing it was asked again about recoveries and while it is understandably a hard matrix to keep up on, were there any new updates. The answer was abased on surveys now going out 7 days after the initial positive test redult. More than 50% have recovered and if they should do that survey on 14 day interval that number would be even higher. They plan to keep better track of this and provide a weekly update. So over the past 70 days(1/24/20 first confirmed case) there have been 7,695 confirmed cases with 157 deaths, out of 43,656 deemed symptomatic enough to require testing. So roughly 17.5% of those tested actually had it. 157 have died, so the number can be dropped to 7,538 for today. 7 days ago there were 2,358 cases since January 24th. We've averaged 740 cases a day simce that time totaling 5,180. The rate of infection is well outpacing the rate of recovery, but that rate of recovery should also spike with each day as well. Number of current cases could be significantly lower than the current number being put out. How many other states are doing this exact thing? The number of cases being shown nationwide is implying it is the confirmed number of current positive test results. Once again, I am not downplaying the significance of what is happening. I do my part and stay at home unless I need beer or food, the essentials, and stay at home when not working. Yet it is one of the reasons I can't believe the number of deaths in the US will reach 100-200k. Anymore I have to wonder are natural deaths being included in daily deaths as well? Presumed positive but not tested for deaths? All of the distrust of the governement and media to tell the absolute truth can really make one raise some doubts.
Anyone have it yet? I am waiting for results to come back from my test . Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
When were you tested? Did you have one of the new tests or the jab your brain via nostril? Hopefully it comes back negative, this thread isn't a contest one wants to win.
I find Ohio site the best so far, they actually show hospitalizations, The numbers shown by Michigan does not paint an accurate picture of what is happening. It's on my list if I get called on tonight for the town hall for the question I want to ask, two-parter. 1. what is the % of those test positive who need to be hospitalized and what % hospitalized need a ventilator. 2.what is the number of recoveries. I would like to know why she reversed course on the drug trial, being Henry Ford is not using the malaria drug.
Tuesday morning, I got the brain jab. After four exposures last week the DOH pulled me in for a test. We have 5 medics out with it, three been hospitalized and is in ICU. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
So a precautionary rather than symptomatic test? Hopefully you get the result tonight or tomorrow. Good luck to yourself and those impacted that you know
Yes one in ICU. I dont know if i want a negative test or not, i am asymptomatic, at this point its like ...get it over with. Its not a if situation its just a matter of when. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
Yes, I got tagged with 4 different exposures over like four days...one patient and three coworkers. Go figure. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
No, 72 hours of no symptoms regardless of the results and your back in the meat grinder. If they pulled everyone down here they would have emplty EDs ICUs and ambulances Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
I just cant put stock in, or energy thinking about, the "numbers". It is probably at least 2 more weeks before statistics become somewhat reliable for the US. There is really no way of even knowing who already had it before the tests were even available and no good way to interpret what the base lines are now nor how they give accurate insight to the overall outcome. As far as Trump goes, anything done will be scrutinized and only history will have an accurate view. I love this forum and enjoy the banter, but I'm focusing on keeping my family close, keeping us supplied, taking walks and keeping my powder dry. I hope and PRAY you all stay safe whether you like it or not. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Did your questions make it? My guess would be no, and prescreen was done before the "Town Hall" to filter the questions.
Disturbing reports out of NYC..my God I hope not true. Ambulance EMT pick up CV19 patients and if they go into arrest on the way in it's hands off and DOA. WTH! especially seeing they are telling people not to even call until they are in real distress . Also this when Cuomo has stopped Dr from drug treating with the malaria cocktail unless people are actually hospitalized.
Sorry, your miss stating the protocol for cardiac arrest procedures. Not trying to be a wise ass however putting out erroneous information doesnt do anyone any good. Arrest protocols are the same as always, however we no longer transport a patient that doenst have spontaneous circulation, ie a heart beat. In other words if they are dead, they are staying where they are. If a person regains a spontaneous circulation because of our inteventios they are of course transported as always. None of that equates to "hands off" description you stated. There is sound reasoning for the change, and in fact its something that should have be instituted years ago.
